Live Feed is a company formed with the purpose of
holding a massive celebration to commemorate the 50th
Anniversary of the world's first business computer's
commercial sale. In holding this celebration we will raise a
substantial sum to help alleviate starvation throughout the
world |
 |
| The ethos behind the marketing of the first
business computer was what they called User-Driven
Innovation. Instead of designing a product and then adapting
customer's needs to accommodate the features of the system, a
technical team analysed the prospective client's production,
commercial and clerical requirements and then provide a
computerised system that would alleviate blockages and
bottlenecks and thus allow a client to concentrate on
the development of the business.
|
 |
| This customer-centric policy was not in line with
computer manufacturers whose aim was simply volume sales and
whose 'one size fits all' marketing principles led to the
eventual demise of the more customer oriented computer
producers.
|
 |
| Fifty years on and with the customer now more
knowledgeable and aware, some manufacturers have decided
that their equipment can offer 'solutions to business problems'.
|
 |
| So now we celebrate the pioneers of the business
computer and the return to those marketing standards that
began those years ago. To get involved with this event, go
to the contact us page and leave your details for us to get
in touch with you.
